We all experience plumbing issues at some point or another that comes with an expense and an inconvenience. However plumbing emergencies need service ASAP and can potentially be very expensive, especially if during the off hours or weekends. Let’s talk about the differences.
Persistent Drain Clogs
Slow draining over and over will usually equate to deeper problems. Some of the identifying flags for bigger problems are bad odors and gurgling sounds. You can schedule service to address the issues. If the problem goes unaddressed, it could result into a larger problem, such as back up of sewage into your drain system. That would require an emergency call as that would need to be addressed immediately.
Major Leaks
A drop that you can catch with a bucket to buy time until regular hours to call in for service would not necessarily mean an emergency. However, a major leak such a hot water tank gushing out would definitely qualify to call for emergency service. No matter the case, always clean the water damage ASAP to avoid further damage. Use wet vacuums, mops, towels, etc. and don’t forget to use a disinfectant.
Obvious Damage
If there is visual damage, there could be internal damage and a bigger issue. Call one of the Paradigm Plumbing professionals that is licensed and insured right away to help navigate.
